Meet Annaliese
Annaliese Wiederspahn is an experienced communications and public affairs professional with an expertise in policy research and message development. Wiederspahn has worked with leaders and candidates at the local, state and national level to advance solutions and provide valuable insights into the dynamics driving the debate around today's hot-button issues.
Wiederspahn is the former communications director of the Republican Party of New Mexico, the New Mexico House Republican Caucus and the Wyoming House and Senate Majority. She also ran communications and served as campaign manager for winning U.S. House races in 2008 and 2010.
Previously, Wiederspahn worked as a researcher for Jansing & Co. on MSNBC; as a data reporter for The New York World; and served as a communications consultant to the Environment Department at the World Bank and the Rock Creek Group, an alternative investment firm, in Washington, DC.
Originally from Wyoming, Wiederspahn grew up in ranching and maintains a deep connection to rural leaders, agricultural producers and policymakers. Her research interests are particularly focused on the future of rural communities, production agriculture and conservation.
Wiederspahn holds a masters degree in digital media from Columbia Journalism School and a bachelors degree in economics from Haverford College. She and her husband, Will, are adoring parents to one rambunctious toddler named Gus and one Spanish Water Dog named Hank.
